1- Large head cauliflower cored and cut into bite size pieces
6 - large hearts of romaine lettuce cut into medium sized bite pieces
1- small-medium red onion chopped fine (less if you don’t care for a lot of onion)
1⁄2 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese(to sprinkle on top of finished salad)
1- cup real mayo such as Hellmens
12- teaspoons sugar
2 - Jars real bacon bits (low Sodium)
1⁄2 - cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
1) In a very large mixing bowl or large pot, place all vegetables that you cut into bite size pieces and finely chopped onion.
2) Mix all marinade together, chill for 8 hours or overnight.
3) An hour or a few hours before serving (mixing salad to far in advanced will become wilted) pour marinade into cut up vegetable, mix very well, sprinkle leaving on top the remaining 1⁄2 cup parmesan.
