Fruit Salad with Yogurt

“It’s that time of year for refreshing, light deserts or a side dish”

1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup fruit flavored yogurt
2 tablespoons good honey
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 orange, juiced
1 teaspoon fresh lemon
2 medium bananas, sliced
1/2 pint fresh blueberries
1/2 pint fresh raspberries
3 -4 cups pineapple chunks
1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and cut in half
1 bunch seedless green and or red grapes, halved
Dollop with whipped cream if desired.


1) Combine the yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and brown sugar in a bowl and set aside.

2) Combine the orange juice, lemon juice and banana slices in a separate bowl.

3) Add the berries, pineapple and grapes, gently mixing all the banana fruit mixture together with the combined yogurt in a nice serving bowl.

4) Top with Whipped cream if desired.
